Meet Our Team of Highly Qualified Technicians

Seth Richards
Service Center Team Lead
Seth has been with Trainz since February 2013. Prior to working at Trainz, Seth was a member of the U.S. Air Force as a Aeronautical Machinist/Welder and has worked on various types of military and civilian aircraft.  He has nose to tail experience of aircraft mechanical and electrical systems.  Seth has an A&P License (Airframe and Powerplant), which may sound like overkill, however, A&P mechanics receive a course of training that gives him invaluable insight into working on today’s modern model railroad mechanics and electronics.  Seth is our electronics wizard and isn’t afraid to dive into the most complex locomotive, transformer and digital control electronics issues.  He has performed many board level component repairs that have saved thousands of dollars in board replacement costs.  He has also built several custom test fixtures for troubleshooting Lionel engines that are shown under the Tools tab of our website.  Seth has been a hobbyist all of his life.  Be it trains, RC surface and air, or modeling, he has enjoyed participating in all types.  He is married to his wife, Jennifer and has two boys, Mason and Hudson.
Seth has attended the following model railroad training:
- Lionel factory training
- MTH PS1 and PS2 certification
- MTH PS3 certification

Ed Allison

Ed and his wife followed their children and grandchildren out of the Midwest wanting to have an active role in their lives here in Georgia. We have been lucky to have Ed with us as he has applied his construction skills and expertise to building out our new service center that you see under the Facilities tab of our website.
